To promote the professional technical education among today’s youth, the Department of Industrial Training Haryana is imparting skilled based training to the unemployed youth of the state. At present, the state has a network of 156 Government Industrial Training Institutes ((123 GITIs and 33 GITIs for Women)) and 232 Private ITI’s under the Craftsmen Training Scheme. It offers one and two-year diploma courses both in engineering as well as non engineering trades. During the current academic year 2017-2018, there are 60292 seats in 3518 trades. There is a regular improvement in trades and training methodology to match up the current trends and technology as per the demand of various industries.

The main aim of the department is to promote Vocational Training in the state and to reduce the unemployment among the educated youth. Students can fill up the online admission form from the official website itiharyana.gov.in. to apply for Haryana ITI admission 2018, the candidate must be 8th /10th /or 12th passed as required by the trade he or she wanted to enroll. Admission to various courses will be made on the basis of merit list after qualifying the exam.

Students can also visit www.haryanaiti.in as well to fill in the online application form, check out the important notification dates, various trades in which they want to enroll etc.
